About

Born and raised in the suburbs of Los Angeles, I am a SoCal girl to the core.  I attended college at the University of Southern California (go Trojans!) and majored in Communication with an emphasis in Media and Society.  After college, I worked in the retail and restaurant industries for five years until I realized that I wasn’t getting any younger, so I finally decided it was time to go to law school I had always planned.

I went to law school at the University of San Diego, and it was AWESOME.  Law school was basically undergrad on crack.  The classes were more engaging, the people were more interesting, and there was wayyyy more partying.  I was pretty devastated after I passed the bar (have you ever heard anyone say that??) because it meant that I had to grow up and finally get serious (ha!) about life, love, my career and everything in between.

Currently, I am an entertainment attorney at a production company in Beverly Hills, working on a top-rated reality television show while simultaneously questioning everything about life.

A Third Life Crisis started out as a journal intended to help me figure out what was bothering me and how to fix it.  I was lost and I hoped that writing might help me discover something new about myself.  Luckily, it did.  After writing for months about anything and everything, I realized three things: 1) I love to write; 2) I have done a lot of shit in my life; and 3) a lot of women in their 30’s feel the same way I do – confused, scared, debating whether to start a new career – and if this blog could help just one of those women (or men!), then I would consider it a success.

I never met a glass of wine I didn’t like.  I think puppies and cheese are both divine gifts (for different reasons, of course).  Awkward and anxious.  Just trying to figure it all out.
